It’s always a pleasure to see a Boeing 747-400 take off, and especially one that you’ve had the privilege of being a passenger on. This is Thai’s Boeing 747-400, HS-TGB, taking off from Stockholm Arlanda for a flight to Bangkok. A couple of years ago I flew this airplane in the opposite direction.

Almost Closed

Bangkok’s Don Muang airport was closed for scheduled passenger flights when the new Suvarnabhumi airport opened, but it reopened again shortly afterwards for a few domestic flights, giving me the opportunity of capturing this Thai Airbus A300-600, HS-TAF, on my SD card, as it was being pushed back for a flight to Phuket.
