LN-ROT is a McDonnell-Douglas MD81 that I had the privilege of flying a few weeks ago. In this picture, it’s on final for Stockholm Arlanda’s runway 01L.

Three airplanes in one picture from Stockholm Arlanda’s terminal 5. At gate 1 is a Scandinavian Airlines MD82, OY-KHM, at gate 3 is a Spanair Airbus A320, EC-HXA, and at gate 5 is an Austrian Airbus A320, OE-LBS.

LN-RLE, Kettil Viking, is a McDonnell-Douglas MD82 that has been with Scandinavian Airlines since 1985. In this picture, the airplane is leaving Stockholm Arlanda’s terminal 5 for an international flight.

Two MD80s pass each other on the taxiways. The one closest to the camera is OY-KHN, a McDonnell-Douglas MD81 which is arriving. The one behind is LN-ROT, an MD82 which is being towed at Stockholm Arlanda airport.

Nordic Airways was a Swedish airline, which is bankrupt by now. I actually flew on this airplane a few years ago, SE-RDM, an MD83, which is seen landing on Stockholm’s runway 01L.

SE-RFB is a McDonnell-Douglas MD82 that used to belong to FlyNordic, which is today the Swedish arm of low-cost carrier Norwegian. Today the airplane is flying for Allegiant Air as N408NV. In this picture, it’s taking off from Stockholm Arlanda’s runway 19R.

A Spanair McDonnell-Douglas MD82, EC-HFP, is rotating on takeoff from Zurich airport.

LN-RLF is a McDonnell-Douglas MD82 from Scandinavian Airlines, here seen landing on Stockholm Arlanda’s runway 26.

Several SAS airplanes are visible at this shot from the Stockholm Arlanda tower towards the F-pier. Two MD81s are parked at gates F33 and F35, with registration OY-KHR and OY-KHN respectively, and on gate F37 is an Avro RJ85 with registration SE-DJO, which is owned by Transwede but which was wet leased by SAS for [...]

Hagbard Viking, OY-KGZ, is a McDonnell-Douglas MD-81 that I’ve personally had the pleasure of flying a number of times. When I caught her on pixels, she was on her way to Stockholm Arlanda airport’s runway 19R for a domestic SAS flight.
